Halpin Music Company
139 Locust, St.
We welcome you!
Our store has been serving the needs of the Alton and the surrounding area for a very long time. The business was originally established as the F.W. Davis Piano Co. back in 1895. Its current name was derived when Clem and Ann Halpin purchased the former Gould Music in the spring of 1961.
Halpin Music has been under the ownership of Mark Landon and Brock Hermens since 1995, who strive to continue the long tradition of combining name brand products and the highest level of customer service possible, along with one of the easiest, most option oriented instrument rental programs available in the area.
We offer so much more than band rental and orchestra lease programs and service, such as a full range of musical instruments, accessories, sheet music, lessons, repairs and educational programs to compliment our 50-plus years of experience in the music business.
Halpin Music’s focus on the needs of music educators and their students has developed through the years, resulting in an unsurpassed level of service to the school music programs in parts of 9 counties in the Southwestern Illinois region.
